I've recently acquired this little beauty after searching for a very long time for a solid shelled Mini that wasn't crazy money. It started out life as an 83 Mayfair and has only had 3 previous owners, one of which had the shell completely rebuilt using BMH panels including an entire front end about 8 years ago. It's still rot free but just a little scruffy around the edges so I'm treating it to a full makeover, rear subframe etc is already off, all back to bare metal underneath the rear which I'll be painting in the next couple of weeks, it will then get built back up with a new Heritage subframe and all new suspension, brakes etc after an expensive trip to Mini Spares North!! I'll post more pics as I go on with the restoration
Great YouTube channel Thomas, one of the most entertaining out there! I'm a long term subscriber and your refreshing 'give it a go' approach to classic car restoration is fantastic, it's how I learned over the years.
